About
After several years of developing mass spectrometry protocols for novel microsampling matrices such as dried-blood-spots and volumetric absorptive microsampling (VAMS), we realized that even though there are extremely sensitive high-throughput instruments capable of working with minuscule amounts of sample, the major bottleneck in research is actually the process of obtaining the samples. Participant recruitment and study organization is outdated and does not make use of modern internet and analytical tools. We decided to change this and in 2018 founded Interestingsamples – company set to make clinical trials faster, more affordable and attractive for participants. We are 3 young, motivated professionals advised by a series of university professors and key opinion leaders from the blood microsampling community.
